I'm sorry that I haven't updated for a while... I've been really busy!
A few weeks ago I posted Taylor Swift's new music video. Guess what, she released another one! And it's one of my favorite songs of the 'Speak Now' album: "The Story of Us". This song makes me happy whenever I hear it! I heard she wrote it for her ex Joe Jonas. She's so pretty in the video! I love her straight hair!

Who Run The World?

She's back! After 3 years Ms. Beyoncé will release her new album '4' on June 28.
I've always been a huge fan of Destiny's Child and Beyoncé in the beginning of her solo career, but the last few years she kind of lost it... It looks like her songs are mass production! I hope this new album will be different. What do you think of her album cover?

A few days ago she released her new video for 'Run The World (Girls)'. The song is not bad, but also not very good, just like the video. I love her with the black horse and the scene with the hyenas though....

Yellow! A beautiful, special color! Just like red, it can make an outfit perfect! But you have to know how to pick the right yellow and to mix it with other items, otherwise it can look very trashy! This picture below of Paris is an example on how-not-to-wear-yellow!

Douze points pour... Azerbaijan!

Last night the Eurovision Contest was on again, which is a reason for me to stay at home! ;) It's a tradition for me to watch it every single year!
Usually I don't watch the preselecetion, this year I saw just a few songs... Belgium didn't make it to the finale which wasn't a surprise at all! I never thought that Greece would get to the finale and that they would end up 7th!
The winner, Azerbaijan, really deserved to win! Though my top 3 was a little different... Take a look!

1. Slovenia: Maja Keuc with 'No one'. She ended up at number 13!

2. Hungary: Kati Wolf - 'What about my dreams'. She ended up at number 22, which she really didn't deserve! During the preselections she didn't sang good at all, but at the finale she nailed it!

3. Italy: Raphael Gualazzi - Madness of Love. He ended up at number 2! They made a huge comeback, because they didn't join the contest the last 13 years! I love jazz and this is just a typical, jazzy, catchy song!

Another group who made their comeback was Blue. I liked the song! But sometimes the vocals weren't the best...

And 12 points to the funniest act go to.... Moldova! They looked like trolls!

As I mentioned earlier, Greece ended up in the finale and at number 7! The song is mixed with rap, but oh I don't like Greek rap at all! I just think that they're making a fool of themselves if they rap!

And last but not least, the winner of course!

Leighton Meester: sing it girl!

I need my daily portion of fresh celebrity juice, so yesterday I was reading Perez again... He posted a video of Leighton Meester (Blair in Gossip Girl), where she sang a song with Check in the dark. I knew she already released a few songs and she sang in the movie Country Strong, but man this was really good! I hope she's going to release a debut album very soon! Country Strong, starting Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw, will be in theatres on May 25th in Belgium.

Also another beautiful Sarah Evans cover: ' A little bit stronger'. I think Leighton sings it way much better than Sarah Evans!

Gossip Girl: Shattered Bass

It's getting a little boring sometimes... But then again, something happens and I'm way too excited again that I can't shut up about it! ;) Like this week's episode... Oh I knew Charlie was trouble, but is it so bad that she needs medication? And what about Chuck and Blair? Will she choose the prince?  I think she's going to choose Chuck, because he's going to save her from Russell! Who would have thought that Russell killed his own wife!

To know all that... we'll have to wait until next week! ;)

Next week will be the season finale and Georgina will be back! They also announced that Vanessa and Jenny will no longer be on Gossip Girl! It isn't a big surprise though...

This week, Rihanna released her new video for her latest single 'California King Bed'. The video is simple, but lovely! She looks very natural and beautiful, I really adore the autumn leaves in it! But one thing I never liked about her... her nails! Awful... :-s
I'm going to her concert in October. I'm not a big fan, but I like her music and think that her shows are pretty good.

Water for elephants

Sunday I went to watch the movie 'Water for elephants'. To be very honest with you, I didn't know what the movie was about... but when I saw that Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon were in it, I just knew I had to see it!
The movie is about a guy who loses his parents in a car accident, right before his finals for veterinarian. He joins a circus as their vet and falls in love with the boss' wife... I didn't have high expectations, but it was really good! Really romantic but also sad that it made me cry (almost!) ;) Magical!

But to be very honest with you, for the very first moment I heard her first single 'I wanna love you forever', I really fell in love with her! I know this might sound strange ;)
She's well known for her statements, bad movies, lovers and for her weight. But what most people forget is that she's also a pretty good singer, style icon and businesswoman!
Jessica has been building a fashion empire which includes shoes, accessories, denim, swimwear, watches and fragrances. Ms. Simpson is the face and boss of a nearly $1 billion business! Hard to believe, I know ;)

Judas! Just a few hours before it's official release on tv, the video leaked on the internet and Gaga had to put it online! And here's the result!
Some scenes remind me of "Telephone" and "Alejandro". I like the 'Mary'-imitation though!

I was watching tv earlier today and saw the latest Nissan commercial. I always loved the song you can hear on the background! I googled it and found the artist. I think it's a 'magical' song, I love it! Never heard of her though!

Addicted to Gossip Girl!

My friend Krizia was always talking about Gossip girl! I don't know why but at first I didn't want to see it. Untill I saw the first episode... I was hooked! Hours and hours I sat behind the tv or computer screen to watch one episode after another! And every Tuesday I'm so thrilled to know what Gossip girl has to say!
Have you seen the latest episode 'The Princess and the Frog'? I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet! ;)
What's your favorite actor/actrice? In the beginning I loved Serena, but now I think her character is a little boring/annoying! I think Blair is really funny, but I also love Little J's style when it's not too extreme....! ;)

I fell in love... with Paris!

Finally after months of waiting, Krizia and I left for Paris! And boy oh boy, I totally fell in love with this city! From the first moment we arrived, everything amazed me!
On Saturday morning we left by bus and arrived in Paris in the afternoon. We've visited so many things like the palace of Versailles, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, La Fayette, Louvre museum and of course the Eiffel Tower!
This city was just so vibrant: great people, beautiful places, lots of cultural things, lovely food, tourists from all over the world, fashion, music, art, ...!
I can't wait to go back!
