Oona Press Days

Two weeks ago I received an email from Oona: an invitation to their press days! I was so honoured, excited and thrilled, I couldn't wait!
So after work, Krizia and I took off to Antwerp. My GPS was so kind to guide us in the wrong direction, but luckily we got there in time!
They welcomed us with a nice cocktail of Cointreau and guided us through the building. We grabbed something to eat of the nice things that they offered, and afterwards we sat down to listen to a presentation about Groupon. It was really interesting: I didn't knew that this company had so much to offer, was so popular and so huge! If you register on the website, you'll receive great offers from all kinds of company's!
And finally we got to see the new collections of all kinds of brands: River Island, Etam Underwear, Essentiel, Vans, Avance, Shoe Discount, .... This summer, Forever 21 will finally open their first store in Belgium and we got to see the collection! Amazing! ;)
The best thing about the whole evening? We got to go home with 3(!) goodiebags!

Angels by Victoria's Secret

Victoria's Secret... Hmm what can I say about it? It is paradise for every woman on earth! Unfortunately it's only available for people in the US and Canada. I think that this multi-billion dollar compagny should consider coming to Europe if they wanna earn a little more ;) I would be first in line to come and buy some things! But I have to be a little more patient. In May they will open a store in Amsterdam and in 2012 one in London! So hopefully Belgium will be the next in line ;)
Victoria's Secret sends me an email almost every day with their latest offers and hottest new collections! And here's one of them: Angels by Victoria's Secret.

We all know Rihanna's S&M and to be very honest with you, I was getting bored with this song! Untill I found this version with Britney! It's not bad! It spices the song up! ;)

Easter Cupcakes!

Happy Easter everyone!
Last Wednesday I went to a workshop with Krizia where they learned us how to make Easter cupcakes! Unfortionatly it was way too short! Only 1,5 hour! But it was really cool! We learned a lot of new things, even though we only got the chance to make one cupcake. My little sheep!

Red Riding Hood

Last Tuesday I finally saw Red Riding Hood! I read a lot of bad reviews about the movie, but surprisingly it was really good! We all know the legend and the 'Twilight' director made a romantic/thrilling/magical movie of it! Amanda Seyfried is the leading actress in the movie. I adore her, her hair and the lovely red cape!

Song of the day: Beyoncé - Girls (Who Run The World)

Beyoncé's new single is finally online after a leaked sneak peek last week. The song is called "Girls" and will be on her fourth studio album that will be released in June 2011. You might recognize track samples from Major Lazer's "Pon De Floor".

Elizabeth Hurley Beach at Maasmechelen Village

As I mentioned earlier I went to the opening of the Elizabeth Hurley Beach hut at Maasmechelen Village. It is an outlet village where you can find all kinds of brands with 30% to 50% off on last year's collection.
I took a half day off from work, because I didn't want to miss this! And it was worth it! I met Marie from Oona there, and she gave me the opportunity to join the other bloggers to interview Elizabeth herself!

I loved the collection: sexy, feminin, playful, colorful, ... I liked the fact that she also offered beachwear for children! So cute! A minor thing might be that the beachwear wasn't cheap and the bikini's didn't have a proper fit for women with a big bosom! During the interview I asked her if she would design bikini's in the future for women with bigger breast. She answered that they were aware of the problem and next autumn they would create bikini's like that!

New outfit post: New boots!

As I mentioned earlier I bought a new pair of boots. They are so comfortable and I can wear them with almost everything!
Lucky for me, my mom took some pictures. But I'm so not good with taking pictures as you can see! Does anyone have some good advice on how to pose? =D

Last night Lady Gaga revealed her cover for her upcoming album 'Born This Way', that will be released on May 23. It's designed by Nick Knight and The Haus of Gaga. Lady Gaga, I'm a big fan, but honey what kind of a cover is this? Is this a joke?

I know this song is a little old, but this song is in the top 3 of my favorite songs of all time! From the first time I heard it...  I played it like a billion times... over and over again! ;) No wonder they won so many Grammy's this year!

Primark, you disappointed me!

So today I finally went shopping again with my mom, brother and my aunt at Primark. I couldn't wait, I wanted to buy so many new things... And I should've expected it... The store was a huge mess with ugly things! I'm sorry to say this! I bought these things at Primark, except for the sport pants.

I was looking for so many things like a white skinny jeans , a softpink blazer, ... Hopefully I'll find it in Paris! In two weeks I'm going 3 days with my friend Krizia! I can't wait!

Springtime on my nails!

One of my addiction: Nail polish! Everytime I go in to the store, I need to check out the lastet new colors! In the past I used to bite my nails. Now I put nail polish on a few times a week, otherwise I'll bite my nails again! I love all kinds of colors on my nails, they can be the perfect accessory to my outfit! This spring most of the brands offer cute colors: mint-green, lavender, nude-color, yellow, baby-blue,... It's like springtime on your nails!
Here are a few pictures of my nail polish collection ... I didn't realise I had so many! My favorite colors are black, raspberry, red, grey, pink, green, ... ;) My favorite brands are Essence and Catrice.

Hooverphonic is a very popular, Belgian rock-pop group! The trio started in 1995 and had some major hits like "Mad About You" and "The World Is Mine". Last November they released their new full album 'The Night Before' to welcome their new lead singer Noémie Wolfs. Here's their second single "Anger Never Dies".

These boots are made for walking!

Last week, I went to Maastricht with a friend. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, untill I saw these babies in a store called Tango! I instantly fell in love! I was searching for some look-a-like-cowboy-boots for quite a while.
This is just a picture I took at the store. Next time I'll post it with an outfit! ;) I'm looking for a nice, white dress to wear with the boots. Friday I'm going to Primark ( I love this store!), so hopefully I'll find one there! ;)

Song of the day: Ke$ha - Blow

The first time I heard this song my thoughts were: "No no no, I do not like this song at all!". Now when I hear it: "I wanna dance!" ;)
I like Ke$ha and everything about her: her music, style, freckles and nose ring!
The video is pretty crazy, especially the horse-heads! And to see James Van der Beek play a role in it, I still see him as innocent Dawson Leery from Dawson's Creek.

I'm pretty excited about this, my first outfit post! I don't really know how to describe my style... It can be feminine, but also very casual. Depends on the mood I'm in ;)
